I'm pretty MICKY, to be fair... Mum's family are from Limerick and deep-rooted there (although that's a VIKING city - far from pure CELT that place)... Old man's mum was from near Kerry... Got other family that moved to DUBLIN as well...

Most of my blood is Irish, and that includes some from my black dad from Barbados (who also has a bit of norwegian and finnish blood according to my y chromosone test).
Mum's da was from Galway, and her ma from County Mayo, God help us! Just visited there, finally, for the first time in my life. Absolutely stunning countryside around the lakes and hills in the West. Lived the dream (I mean it) of jamming in the tiny local pub with some locals, including an old blood releative on accordian.
Ah , 'twas a craic, to be sure.
Still support England in football, as I am English, but I will always look out for Ireland's results, and I wouldn't get the tiniest bit upset if Noble told England to do one and hooked up with Ireland instead.
